Universal Stainless Steel Keg Fermenter

Available in 15.5 gallon & 13.2 gallon units

       The Uni-Fermenter is made out of a gently used and reconditioned Stainless steel keg. All fittings and legs have been professionally TIG welded using the finest Stainless steel rod. The standard model Uni-Fermenter features a soda keg style hatch to access the interior of the fermenter for filling, cleaning, pitching yeast, adding hops and racking out beer. The Uni-Fermenter also features a male 3/4" NPT nipple, with a 3/4" NPT valve located on the bottom of the unit for taking yeast samples and cleaning. The original Sankey valve has been removed, and welded shut. We have also installed soda keg style liquid out and co2 in fittings, which are serviceable and removable. Sanitary fitting upgrade options are also available, allowing even more accessibility than the standard soda keg hatch opening, as well as the ability to remove all fittings with one clamp for ease of cleaning.

The soda keg liquid out fitting has a dip tube that is 1/2" off of the bottom of the Fermenter, and can be used to rack out the beer under co2 pressure for kegging, as well as for serving. During fermentation, co2 blow off  is accomplished by removing the c02 connecter body fitting, and removing the poppet seal from the connector body. Next the connector body is sanitized,and re-installed without the poppet valve. Then a supplied FDA silicone 5/8"hose is then attached to the female fitting, and ran down into a bucket of water to serve as an airlock, and to catch any beer blow off. Once fermentation has stopped the blow off tube is removed, along with the c02 connector body fitting. The poppet valve and connector body are then sanitized, and re-installed prior to pressurizing with co2 for conditioning, serving, or racking. The Uni-Fermenter has 3 welded Stainless Steel legs, with swiveling, lockable casters, that can quickly be removed by unthreading the wheel from its leg that contains a welded in, threaded insert. This allows you to shorten the overall height of the unit by 3" making it possible to fit into most common refrigerators. The Uni-Fermenter comes with all parts pictured. We also stock soda keg co2, and liquid in quick disconnects, hose barbs, and spare blow off tubes that can be purchased separately.
